Jay: If I could sell bindweed I'd be
rich. There are bindweed mites that are available from our state (CO)
ag department. They colonize the bindweed and knock it down and in a
couple of years kill it off. The first year after colonization it keeps it
from blooming and in subsequent years the mites kill it off.
Call your ag department or extension and see if
they have any.
Good luck,
Elaine
