what's yours, and is there a good bush variety??  I've already got sugar snap, but i'd like something I don't have to trellis, running out of hands and time ; ))

Snap peas: Sugar Ann for early ones, and Cascadia or Sugar Lode for second crop.

Snow peas: Oregon Giant; and Burpee's Snowbird, unfortunately only available in packet sizes; but the only snow pea I've found that consistently ripens significantly earlier than Oregon Giant. The pods are much smaller, and it gives out earlier in the season, but I do put in a few to have some out on the stand as early as possible.

All the above a) can be grown without any trellis and b) will be easier to pick, and more reliable in a stormy year, if grown on some trellis; but lightweight bamboo or similar poles and some twine will do, they don't need anything heavy duty or very tall.
