Sidekick is the best pollinator. I plant one pollinator to every two crop melon plants. Sidekick only grow 2-3 feet wide with baseball size fruit so they don;t compete with the crop. Sidekick seed is very expensive but fruits are almost 50% seeds so if you save the seed one fruit will yield around $10 worth of seed. This year I'M growing personal size seedless watermelons they are the size of cantelopes... Bob.

They really suffer when overwatered. Keep them warm, but not excessively hot. They are very sensitive as germinating seeds. But once they're up and growing, you can treat them like any other watermelon.
