In south Jersey there is a company called Mayerfeld Supply phone 856-6921313.
Ask for the owner Henry. They sell various specialty supplies to the nursery
industry including a wireless thermostat. My buddy who passed away last month
made them in his basement and sold them through Mayerfeld. They might still
have some in stock. They work very well in straight line distances where no
buildings are in the way. I often heard complaints of one nurseries alarm
triggering every other alarm in the neighborhood. I use underground electric
cables buried a few inches deep connecting all my greenhouses to an alarm in
my home and a thermostat in each house set at 40 degrees... Bob.

Have you searched for the brand name online - maybe you can just get a new
remote unit?
Otherwise I'd look through all the seed catalogs, also FarmTek.

Two years ago I bought a wireless temperature monitor with a range of 330
feet. The sensor fizzled out on me, and I can't find another with that
range. Does anyone know of a source? I have checked Radio Shack, Lowes,
Gemplers, Charley's Greenhouse, Gloeckners, Jaderloon, basically any place I
could think of that would carry these. The only ones I can find have a range
of 100 feet, and that won't work. The one I bought had an alarm on it in
case the temp. in the greenhouse dropped to low. It worked great until now.
Any help would be appreciated.
