Harvesting standards depend a little on the market you're selling to. Assuming you're writing to this list because you're interested in the retail direct-market rather than wholesale, I think you'll find a variety of responses. I think most would agree though that they are cleaned and bunched and sold by the bunch. There are different varieties with different colors, sizes and maturities. Personally, I think it's better to harvest slightly early to ensure that texture and flavor qualities are in prime condition. there should be 10-12 radishes per bunch. They need to be kept hydrated and cooled if possible, or put them in the market in the shortest timeframe possible. Sort out any with flaws, such as maggot tunnels, or mechanical injuries. Most varieties are in the 22-26 day time frame so they need to be succession planted about once per week.

I am working on my masters degree at Purdue, in my research we are looking at a rotation that includes radishes, I have never grown radishes before and do not know what the harvesting standards are.  Could someone help?
