a farmers market is a great way. I sold a ton of mine to people that wanted to plant it. I grew 11 kinds this year and so far they all did exceptional.

Hi....I grow about 2,000 lb a year for sale and I think you were on the right track trying to find a local source because often when you buy garlic seed from some other area the garlic either has a hard time adjusting to your area and takes a few seasons to do so, or it simple will not do good in your area. For instance, the garlic I grow (a hardneck type) is great here in western NY but does not do well in hot climates. By the way, some of the garlic at the discount stores comes from China so who knows how that will do in the US.
Sometimes a Farmers Market can be a good way to locate local garlic growers.

Texas. Can any of you recommend someone? I'm looking for fairly large
quantities, 20 lbs. or more.
Thanks
