I had some limited experience with one 24 years ago John. I was impressed by it's versatility but disappointed in it's attitude. It was trouble all the time. That may have been because of it's history, which I wasn't familiar with but it did not run dependably. It takes some strength to run it too. It's your call but I'd look for an opportunity to work with it a bit before buying it.

I have an opportunity to buy an old (not sure how old) Gravely with a set
of implements including a tiller, snowblower, snow blade, rotary plow,
mower, and sulky. Does anyone on this list have any experience with
Gravelys? The fellow wants $500 for everything. Good deal or should I
turn and run? -John
