Another 'sure fire' way to combat aphids in the greenhouse is this: Keep a
mustard plant or two in the corner. The aphids flock to the mustard, then it
is carried to the goose pen, where the aphids and the mustard are happily
eaten. This requires regular planting of mustard but just pop a few seeds in
every few weeks. I have never had aphids anywhere but on the mustard
utilising this method.

One way I deal with aphids is to hang humming bird feeders around the
garden area. Hummers love aphids and will clean up a crop in a couple of
days. Granted, in NE Ohio you are about a week or two away from the
hummers coming back.

On the soap issue do what Phil sez and use 1TBL soap per quart of water
(and make sure the water is soft water or the soap will curdle and be
useless). The soap will not only wash off the oil off the plants but
should do a number on the aphids as well.
