I use a product called Greenshield. It costs around $30 a gallon. Mix a
tablespoon per gallon of water, it kills bacteria fungi and viruses. I use it
to disinfect cutting tools. When I do my geranium cuttings, I soak two
clippers and change clippers between stock plants. I disinfect plastic trays
and also use it sprayed directly from the bottle through my fertilizer
injector to disinfect my greenhouses. It kills the algae that grows on the
poly covers and in walkways. Green shield is also used to clean livestock
houses, wash eggs and even used to disinfect dishes and utensils in
restaurants. I spray the siding on my home with it to kill the algae that
grows in our humid climate. Its a safe easy to use product that works... Bob.
