Greetings, all, and best wishes for happy, healthy, peaceful Holiday season and New Year.

I have  tried the polypropylene horizontal trellis for tomatoes, cukes, pole beans, etc. It works OK, but sags under the weight of vines unless one adds a supporting wire through the top mesh (or perhaps put posts closer than the approx. 5' apart I did).  Also, in this latitude, the polypropylene breaks down fairly quickly. No problem with one, maybe 2 or 3 uses, but after that strength is compromised and the plastic breaks.   I find that the soft nylon trellis (with a top supporting wire interlaced through the mesh) much longer lasting, cheaper and as good/better.

All best wishes,

Karen

Has anyone tried Horizontal trellis, a polypropylene 6" mesh for staking tomatoes? I would like to know how it worked.
