Yes it will work. I have 110 such benches set up in the same fashon 9ft
long. I use 3/4" pvc pipe along each wall with tee's at each bench and
drip attached to the tee's. This setup allows me to water in zones. I don't
use tee tape I use Netafim 17 mil tubing with ram drippers. Check out greenhouse
watering systems using capilary mats they use conventional drip tape to
wet the mats and is more like what you will be using... Bob.
Sunny Meadow Farm Bridgeton, NJ. David Tannen wrote: I am planning on converting my greenhouse to a key pattern. This pattern has a 2' central isle with 5' beds running at right angles with 1' paths between the beds. The beds are parallel to the width of the greenhouse as opposed to running the length of the greenhouse. A good visualization is to think of an old skeleton key. My greenhouse is 20' X 96'. The 5' beds will be approx. 9' long. I don't think T-Tape is going to work well with this system. Any suggestions? Thanks. David |
