I grew up in AZ. This time of year the white fly populations increase, and
it's all because the farmers in the valley have now started spraying their
cotton fields to defoliate the cotton plants prior to picking. White flies
infest cotton fields by the zillion. After defliation, and with nothing
left to eat, the white fly populations from the cotton fields move to town,
and on to other crops, flowers, etc. They will slowly disappear in the next
couple of weeks. Sorry, I don't have any organic suggestions as to getting
rid of the pests.
