Milk here in Hawaii is pricey - $5.00+ /gallon (gasoline is getting
closer in price, $3.69 unleaded in some gas stations)- I don't think it
will be practical. Besides, milk will attract ants and other soil
arthropods that might become another problem. Anyway, aloha for the
input.

You dilute the milk at 10-to-1 and spray just to cover the leaves (I use a sticker - yukka) You can spray a lot of squash plants with 1/2 gal of milk. Better, sour milk works also, so go begging at a cafe!
