I'm curious about the use of buckwheat and where it may be purchased. Is it too late to sow buckwheat in South Central Kentucky (Zone 6B)? Are there several varieties and is there one suggested for dual use--honey bees and late fall cover crop that might help suppress weeds? What is the sowing rate per acre? Does it start blooming in about seventy days?
