Yes, I do and it's a little intimidating to think about it but it's a complete and total no brainer once you get started.

You may want to practice making a few blocks at different moisture levels before you start actually placing seeds. This will take you all of 15 minutes. I'm not particualrly bright and had no trouble at all and a terrific germination rate. Keep in mind I only did chiles, tomatoes and herbs. I direct seed most everthing else I grow.

The mini blocks and mondo blocks seem a waste. I only use the regular size (I know you're going to ask me and I don't know at the moment. Can check on Monday if you need me to).

I make blocks and put them directly on plastic tarp. Misting is key until they are sturdy.

I guess they're not for everyone but I think they're great.

Do you make your own soil mixture? I really hate dealing with flimsy plastic for anything. I am not sure if I am ready to make my own starter mix yet. I would rather buy the right stuff to make the blocks the first time I try.
Thanks,
Margaret

I have to chime in that I love my soil blocks and wouldn't do anything else
for tomatoes and chiles.
