I have 12 loops per 48" wide bench or 24 runs of tubing spaced 2" apart. I
use a
circulating pump the same used in homes for hot water heating. I use a
Grundfos
UP 26-96 F which is the pump favored by greenhouse growers. The pump goes on
the
return line. Thermostat is wired to the pump, when stat calls for heat the
pump
circulates and soon the water heater kicks in. I use a shut off valve on each
bench. The bench top will heat the whole house no extra heating is needed.
System operates at 5-15 psi. must use expansion tank and have air purge valve
somewhere in system.. ..Bob.
