In the Fall, I plan to plant legumes, maybe peas or some sort
of clover, with the proper inoculant of course, to build up the soil. In
the spring, I'll disk it in as a green manure. Does that sound
ok? But for now, I just need something I can use that'll get the job
done. I'd like something I can put down as I plant. Thanks for the
book reference though. I'll see if I can find a copy.

Organic supplements will help to build your soil as well as growing your
crops. We use a spray of horticultural molasses, liquid seaweed
and fish fertilizer and as much compost as we have time to spread.
you may want to read up a little. Start with Straight Ahead Organic
by Shepherd Ogden.
Happy gardening,
