Yes, when transplanting tomatillo plants into the garden, tomatillos can
>be 'buried' so long as 4" or more of the plant remains above soil level.

Thanks Pat! I am growing them for the first time this year and I have no
clue! I figured i had time to look this up as I still have 3-4 weeks at
least before I can plant outside here. Mine are almost a foot tall ( but
Healthy and not spindly) and already have bloosoms on them! I hope they do
alright!
