The only way to fight it - more small farms, selling locally.

That and produce products that are substantially superior in taste and nutrition to commodity foods and develop ways of demonstrating that superiority in both objective testing and taste testing. The Biodynamic farmers are working in both of these areas. Products that are of demonstrably higher quality can demand prices that are not tied to 'the price at Safeway.' -Allan
