I know several folk who buy powdered molasses from the feed stores to
feed their soil. They have told me that this leads to better soil and
thus to plant health - making their plantings less an invitation to pest
and disease. This makes enough sense to me that i am going to try it on
a portion of my raised beds this year. Having worked with wellness in
people for a long time, this makes a good enough ( tho unscientific)
gamble, that i'll buy into this cheap experiment!
