Hi there!
Leaves are a great resource for us out here.......we use our concrete
remesh, tomato cages as sorts of leaf corals in the fall. A little
shredding with my Mother's Day, Stihl Weedeater, and they are wonderful
now for using in the beds for more organic matter. I also use them in
the compost bins ( big ones!). I use oak leaves and pine needles as
mulch around all the Blueberries ( 30 more to go in-ground this week!).
I mulch the tops of my raised beds with them or spoiled hay. My wonderful
husband makes a point of collecting truckloads of them in the fall - or
bringing me wonderful landscape rocks........these are my treats these
days , instead of Godiva Chocolates!!!!
