No good method here but I do have a tip to prevent winter rodent damage.
Mouse damage has cost us hundreds of dollars in the past.
Tip: Store the rolled up, or even loose, layflat hose under water. We
roll ours into our greens harvest buckets which are half pickle barrels
of about 2 bushels, then fill with water. These containers can freeze
without harm to the container or hose.
