Hi All,
If the fruit drops because it wasn't pollinated properly, would using
honeybees or using a higher density of honeybees help this problem? I was
just wondering, maybe you already use honeybees as standard course.

Hello,
I agree with Lucy and Jim re. reasons your plums are dropping.
While most stone fruit has a "June drop", we usually attribute excessive
dropping to improper
pollination due to weather. We try and not thin the fruit till the drop is
completed.
This season we have one of the best cherry crops in a few years. However
some varieties are dropping fruit
and continuing to drop fruit ... On these trees we'll be lucky to end up
with any cherries at all.
You know what they say - don't count your chickens till they're hatched!!
Oh well - the peaches aren't dropping!
