When I pulled out a few of my corn stalks that weren't doing well, I noticed
a small slit at the bottom of the stalk where a small worm/catepillar did
some damage. The pest about about an inch long, very thin, orangy in color.
The damage was similar to what a squash vine borer does to squash. Does
anyone have any idea what this pest could be and any possible solutions?
Thank you.
