bumper crop of cicadas bumper crop of weeds bumper crop of horseflies 3 poppies 100 ft row of gorgeous sweet peas...foliage anyway...horses ate the flowers....... 6 days sun May 2 days sun June 53 requests to unsub from a chatty list...what the hell else are we supposed to do when it rains???
Thanks for the humor Liz!!! It is well needed every where I think! I just put in a 100 foot row of pepper plants on Wed night and I believe that only half of them made it through the lovely 2inches of rain we got yesterday! That has bummed me out. My pea’s are jamming though and so are the strawberries!!! I am not quite sure how…but they are. Guess they really don’t need full sun!! I know that I am generously feeding all of my mosquito’s thanks to the wonderful rain. I may have to buy stock in repellent this year. And some how my sunflowers are not drowning? Well…as of yesterday morning!?
