“We surround everything we plant with a cylinder of 1" mesh chicken wire.  We'll leave the chicken wire there until the plants have grown large enough that the rabbits won't attack them.”

I was going to do that but was really hoping that I could find another remedy instead.  I will probably end up doing that anyway.  We have always had rabbits and I don’t mind sharing the land with them.  But this year they have crossed the line and I have declared war!! 

 

Did I see that someone has recently wrote that Limerock Ruby Coreopsis is an annual?  I just bought one, which I waited to find one cheaper than $10. It has been chewed down also but I thought it was a perennial?  Am I wrong with this idea?  I will be extremely bummed if it is an annual.
