I think you're right. Go ahead and try one and see if you want to eat it at the stage it's in.

The other is Early Alaska.

It's a dry soup pea.  You can eat them fresh, but they aren't very sweet.  Let them dry on the vine and then thresh and store them like you would dry beans.
