Some folks say indeterminates are sweeter and have more flavor than
determinates. Recently, I've come across information that suggests "dry
farming" boosts the sugar & flavor levels--essentially, providing only
enough water necessary for growth & health concentrates the flavor, keeping
the water off all areas of the fruit.

I think that flavor depends alot also on each farm's cultural habits, soil
conditions, and handling the tomatoes after harvest.

And teaching customers NOT to refrigerate them ; )))
