Hello,
A couple quick comments on selling honey. I've talked
to other honey producers in our area(honey only) and
they tell me they have a hard time selling it, we have
a hard time having enough to keep up with the demand
at our stand, I have three working hives of my own
which on a good year will produce around 100 lbs per
hive. I think people won't take the time to stop at a
place to just buy honey, but when it's available with
other produce and farm products it is a good seller.
Also when promoting honey the local aspect is
important.
Does anyone produce comb honey and how does that sell?
I only do bottled honey.
Still have lots of snow and spring looks a long way
off!

7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap
the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is
finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for
sumptuous brown gravy.

I would recommend you not, do this as the aluminum will leach into the ham.
You will have a mild bitter metallic taste that would be the aluminum and
that is very toxic to humans and is thought to be a cause of Old timers
disease.
