Folks,
We finally got our banker to return our calls.  We can set up a business checking account with no minimum and no check writing fees if we don't write more than 150 checks a month.  One interesting note:  a business account can not be an interest bearing account.  So we will have to transfer deposits to another account to take advantage of what piddily interest we can earn.

Thank you for all the helpful thoughts, as ususal!
Bob

Curious if any of you use, for greenhouse ventilation purposes, those $12 box fans that you can find at most discount hardware stores. They tend to be about 18" to 24" in diameter and are usually 3 speed. I have seen pictures and read where some growers hang these "economy fan" from their steel GH hoops to provide better internal air circulation. So assuming any of you use these fans for GH use, and/or some of you are knowledgeable about electric motors, I ask the following questions: 1) Will they run 24hrs/day and not burn up? If so, do you run them on low, med, high? 2) What happens when they get wet? FYI I don't plan on touching them. 3) Do I need to ground each fan? 3) Are they a greater than normal fire hazard? I have heard that shade cloth can become pretty flammable. FYI I am looking to hang these in tunnels that have poly attached in the colder months and shade cloth only, no poly, during the hotter months. I realize that they make HAV fans for this purpose, but they are pretty pricey. If I get 12 months of life, I will be pleased. Thanks, Van
