<<This is a great idea. I really appreciate you sharing this. I have
one more question. What about the spacing of the different seeds. If it
is not too much trouble, I sure would appreciate how far apart to
plant.>>

Thanks, Frank! I came up with the idea after moving into a trailer park,
and not having a lot of room for my personal garden. I should point out
that the market stuff goes into a community garden, which I visit daily
to care for - old farmland that we rent on an annual basis and pay a
portion of the water bill based on how much land we are renting, if we
choose to water. I do - worth the investment IMO. Anyhow, with the
squash hill in the middle, the corn gets planted about six inches away on
either side, so they are about a foot apart all around. Then I plant the
bean or pea seeds actually just outside the corn. My ASCII art wasnt the
greatest but it kind of gives the idea, more or less. Optimally, you
only get about 8 cornstalks and 16 beans/peas per squash, but they do
support one another and it is a great space saver for me (hey, anytime I
can companion plant and/or dense-pack the plants to save space, I will!!
