The Human Side of Farming
Sustaining Farms and Family

Conference and Trade Show

Thursday, January 31, 2002, Friday, February 1, 2002, and Saturday,
February 2, 2002
Sunrise Ranch Retreat and Conference Center, Loveland, Colorado

What is the Human Side of Farming Conference about?

Seminar topics include:

how to preserve agricultural land for future generations;
how Colorado’s continued growth can positively impact rural
families and farms; and
how to stay in farming while keeping your family intact.
The conference will also provide up-to-date strategies for efficient
production as well as leading-edge trends in marketing.

Although the broad theme is sustainability for agriculture and
families, this conference and trade show will provide an opportunity
for agricultural leaders to build relationships, and learn about
possibilities for farm and ranch sustainability and profitability in
the current competitive market.

A public event will feature John Fielder, photographer and keynote
speaker on Thursday evening, January 31. His presentation will provide
a wonderful foundation for discussions on land use and preserving
rural Colorado’s unique ability to provide food, habitat for
wildlife, valuable open space and an extraordinary way of life.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2002 Human Side of Farming:
Sustaining Farms and Family Conference and Trade Show. It is our hope
that by continuing to create communities around Colorado agriculture,
we are making steps toward an environment that will support our
valuable local farmers and ranchers and Colorado’s unique and
historic way of life.
