Well, my parents wouldn't even buy a TV until I was 14, and then it was one
with a black and white screen that might have been 12 inches on the diagonal
in a cabinet that was probably three feet high by two feet wide. I don't
remember watching specific shows except for Ed Sullivan, but I do remember
that commercials used to be LIVE!
I was 19 when Kennedy was assasinated.
I vaguely remember "Little Lulu" but I don't recall being heavily into comic
books.
I do remember candy cigarettes and wrapping sandwiches in wax paper.
This could go on, but I'll stop here.
