Willie,

I'm not sure about the size of your stakes so I might be wrong about their
strength. I used pine stakes (untreated) a couple of years ago and a few of
them snapped under the weight of the vines and fruit. The rest of them
bent. This is OK for one season but a pain in the butt when you try to get
them back in the ground for another season.
