Adriana, I've found that watercress is very easy to start from seed. If you
have enough time, it would seem better to start your crop that way instead
of importing a problem from the start.
Treating the plants may rid you of the "adults", but their egg masses are
very tough (thick coating) and can survive a lot of abuse.
