Yes, they make great cut flowers. Cut them before they are fully open and
condition them for a few hours. They hold well for 4-5 days, depending on
conditions. They are fantastic in mixed bouquets. I like them with lupins
and baby's breath.
I dried them in silica gel one year and got about twice the money for them
when I put them in winter arrangements. Wire the calyx before you dry them,
leaving a stub that you can add wire to when you arrange them. I though that
the reds and pinks were the best looking when dried, but people bought white
ones too.
