If you are trying to apply several inches of mulch, try find a PTO
driven spreader so that you can apply your mulch regardless of ground
speed. We have a ground driven spreader and even at the highest feed out
I have to make several trips to get any thickness of mulch. Sometimes I
think I may be creating as much of a compaction problem as I am helpimg
with the mulch.
