These are probably not what you are thinking when you say "newsletter",
but you can subscribe to some of our local market email newsletters at
http://austinfarm.org.
Right now, only th SAFM and SunCity markets are operating. The
"newsletters" are just a paragraph or two reminding customers of the
markets and telling them what is expected to be available at the markets.
They generally come out the morning of the day before the market.
I would be interested in hearing of any success, failure or trouble
both subscribing and un-subscribing to these newsletters. We have a
very difficult time getting customers to subscribe themselves. Perhaps
they have a fear of "clicking" on mailto:s.
