Central Texas: we picked the first asparagus last week, then a light
freeze set it back. Spinach is growing faster than I can get it
picked; first of the white rust has appeared. First planting of
potatoes is sprouting, but has not yet reached the surface. Thinking
REAL seriously about the first tomato planting. Trying to get soil
worked up for everything. Dormant blackberry root planting complete;
half way through bare root peach planting.
