Hi Marie,
We have a hoop house that has been standing for 3 years now. We had 15
inches of snow dump on us and the next day had major freezing rain and ice.
Actually the shade cloth never got removed in the fall which was a double
worry for me. Any way, the snow eventually slid off and all is well. You
will be amazed what hoop houses can handle for a load. I will say that ours
has wooden end frames for support and a wooden ridge.
