If its any help both of my markets here in southwest Iowa
require locally grown. Iowa Dept. of Ag has a "Iowa Grown" program and
they provide a supposedly(I think it is to a degree actually) widely
recognizable sign for Iowa produce. The state promotes it pretty
well. I'm nobody, but I would recommond local only. I think its
imperative for the consumer shopping at a farmers market to know what
he is getting, if they do allow out of state produce I think it should be
labeled as such.
