I have enjoyed reading all the posts about value added farm products. I
have hit an emotional slump in my ethusiasm for farming and I think it
is because I have felt worn out! There is so much I love about being
here but I am on the verge of burn out and trying to talk my husband
into stopping all together. I feel like I need to get my priorities in
line and get a better plan. One of the things I have started on a very
small scale is to grow for the area food bank and our church to give out
to our community. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to hand out a
beautiful basket of fresh, organic vegetables to peolple who often eat
prepacked, over processed food. I also enjoy having people to the farm
and sharing it with them. I also as a hobby have taken in numerous
rescue animals. With all that put together I am very interested in how
you put together your non-profit/educational farm?
Thank you,
Sue
