There are lots of different methods but most are only affective for a few
days. Once the deer catch on, they lose their fear.
Play a radio in your fields all night.
Scatter dog hair about.
Dust with bloodmeal around the field perimeter.
Hang soap (Irish Springs) from nearby trees.
Shoot off empty shells.
Tie a brave dog out there.
Sleep out there yourself and keep an eye on things.
If you're religious, pray.
If it's severe and persistent, contact the D.E.C. and learn about getting a
permit to
shoot one-- if you feel you could do that.
Maybe somebody else knows of something more effective.
