Tanglefoot is a clear plastic-like substance that is used for sticky traps.
The bucket i own does not list ingredients so i have no idea what is in the
stuff.

I do know it is waterproff and last about 4 weeks before the stickiness
wears off and nothing works as well.

I got a gallon bucket for $35.00 several years ago and I would estimate that
I have about a 10 year supply left so I think it is cheaper than petroleum
jelly but would cost more than used motor oil, the two subtances most often
cited as things to cover sticky traps with
