They may be guilty of confusing the terms "genetic engineering" and
"biotechnology", but they are not wrong when they say that using yeasts or
bacteria to modify foods is biotechnology. Biotechnology does not
necessarily mean genetically engineered. That said, it does seem misleading
to me that they equate the process of cheese manufacturing or bread making
with genetic engineering, which they clearly do. Sad mistake.
