I'm not so sure that the temperature is the only concern. I am setting
mine plants outside in uncovered coldframes during the day for a few
days so they can get used to the wind (we have a lot of it here in
Eastern Kansas) without getting blown away directly. Also, the air they
will live in outside is different than the indoor environment. I then
bring them into the garage (cooler than they were used to in their
nursery) for the night to get them used to a deeper night->day
temperature swing.
