Would like some feedback on "hardening off" of transplants growen in a
greenhouse and when to transplant to the field. Here in coastal Northern
California, a hard frost in no longer a reality. Is it really necessary to
harden off tranplants and if so, for how many days prior to transplanting
and for how many hours per day-evening or day time? Is the general rule of
thumb to tranplant when two sets of true leaves(not cotyledons) a good one
to follow?
