I purchase them from the central Safeway (supermarket) bakery in my state
(Oregon). They cost me $.75 each, and I'm able to pick through them
somewhat to eliminate the truly damaged ones, and ensure an adequate mix
of larger grid pattern (used with 2" blocks) and tighter grid pattern
(used for 1" soil blocks & potato harvesting).
