Liz,

I honestly don't know if the ugly potatoes was a result of the clover
or another plant. The clover we have here is a type of subterranean
clover that is very difficult to clean out of the garden. We also
have sheep sorrel here and it has a habit of showing up where we
don't want it. Regardless of what caused the scarring on the
potatoes, we have decided we will keep a cleaner patch this coming
season to see if that clears up the problem.
