Any husbands/men want to speak up?? Do you have suggestions or
comments??
Do all you couples share the same passion for this work, and if not,
how do you cope--(simply & respectfully--I'm not looking for tales of
woe, or personal stories)?
I know many farming couples who are on their second (& third)
marriages/partnerships due to the disinterest of one in the
profession. Is this generally true?? When they split up--and find
someone who likes/loves farming they stay together.
Is this a reflection of society in general or is this due to the
passion we feel for what we do??
And yes--this is on-topic. Stress is part of any job, and market
gardening/farming is no exception. Many times the couples are
together all the time which presents a unique set of problems, and
increased stress. Maybe this is why small farms are in trouble.
